Good transmission shop near Johnson City TN

I live in Greeneville TN just south of Johnson City / Bristol TN. My 06 3500 with its 48re is coming up to 100K and its time to change the fluid again so I'm considering letting a shop do it just to take a look at it and adjust the bands.

Anybody know of a good transmission shop in my area?

Rocky Top Transmission is your place. Eli is the person you want to talk to. He is doing my transmission this week. I got several recommendations for them from many different folks. My neighbors son just had his done too. They couldn’t be happier.

Thanks for the feedback. Sometimes I must admit I miss living on a big city.But only ocasionally. The rest of the time my country living is a fantastic plus. That shop would be anbout 2 hours from where I live. However, I might visit camping world an look for a new RV! Thanks again for the input.

Rocky top Transmission is in Blain TN not Rockttop formerly known as Lake City. Blain is a little over an hour away from you. It is about an hour away from me in Clinton as well.
