I didn't buy the truck from a Ram dealership, believe it or not I bought it from a Honda Dealership. I had to pay an extra $300 because it is a diesel.

Wait, lifetime on the power train? I was told no policies went beyond 125,000 on Maxcare. Or 8 years.
Yes, I will check on some paperwork for the specifics of it all.

Two months after I bought the truck, I had it undercoated, all door jams and such sprayer, and the leather coated, and paint was ceramic coated. The frame has a 10 year corrosion proof warranty. I guess you can say I like warranties.

Rob...I too am looking as I bought my truck from Hunter out in Lancaster. Seems to be a good dealer but too far for me. I've heard Fullerton Dodge has a great diesel tech that has been there for years but have not tried them yet. Going to go when I need an the oil changed along with the fuel filters.
On topic I bought an aftermarket warranty but want to go with the maxcare from chrysler.
I should have done more homework on this but found out I can cancel the one we purchased.
Thanks for the info Elsbury, Fullerton isn’t to far when I need warranty work. Don’t mind the traveling if I can find a good dealer to help me out.
check online for the max care you may get a better deal

Dealers rip you off on fuel filter changes . get them on amazon or genos and change your own fuel filters and save about 200

When I bought my 2020 3500 LB the dealer offered me the 8 yr plan for 4000 . I told him that was too much . In the next breath he said I have a discount coupon for a 1000 . It was all I could do to keep from laughing . I said ok you got a deal . So you never know the deal until you turn their deal down .

I did just buy a 8 year max care plan . 100.00 deductable , 85,000 miles , money back if I don't use it .
3300.00 . Heard of better deals ,but , I now have bumper to bumper coverage for 5 more years , and hope like my last truck I didn't use the warranty there will be a payback . If something does go south covered . Good peace of mind , at a cost..

My friend bought the 7yr/100,000 mile Maxcare from Dave Smith on his '07 wayback. It was the refund policy. He was covered all that time and got his $2700 back.

I bought my Ram in Jan of this year from Browning Dodge in Norco, Ca (southern Ca) and they didn't give me the factory warranty option, only 3rd party extended warranty even tho I asked about a factory plan. Once i found out about the Max Care I canceled the 3 party warranty and called:
Mopar Vehicle Protection Payment Plan Call Center
1-800-595-6286
I went with almost the same as plan sag2 has, 8yr 125,000 and $100 deduct, but the best price i could get was $4100. after the fact. After the dealer pulled that 3rd party warranty stuff on me, I dont think Ill take my truck back there for any repairs, so if anyone has any recommendations for a stand up dealer with a good service department I would appreciate it. Im in the high Desert area 40 miles north of Ontario CA. Southern CA.
What is the name of 3rd party warranty you canceled??

i bought my 2019 from a Dealer in Escondido (So Cal) CA, My Maxcare 7/100k $200 Ded. was approx. $2500, which is pretty close to what the https://www.chryslerwarrantydirect.com/ shows. i had the Lifetime warranty on my 09 1500 5.7 HEMI, as does my Dad's 08 Power Wagon, but i did not know they still offered Lifetimes up till 2018 or i woulda bought a new 18 rather than 19, it was well worth it, are ya sure they offer Lifetime with Diesels, my dealer doesn't even offer oil change packages for diesels like i buy for my Grand Cherokee. i got a 10 yr. Service contract for Oil changes and tire rotations.
