:D:D:D Yes Hp...i do realize this would be the "A" model...but, thank the good lord we have drivers like yourselfthat are willing to meet the challenge.;)[/QUOTE"A" Model that i flew was an adventure every-time I flew, from struggling get the aircraft started blew the afterburner off on start-up once sure got green glow. I had many ventures with that plane some things were really hard to understand, now many years later I really have to laugh at all of this!:)

HP, we've both sat in the chair of a ultra high performance platforms which brings up the question; which do you think you would prefer---majority analog systems or current day tech?

Too be honest doesn't really matter. company that uses to work for bought new Gulfstreams, I was kind of shocked, there was no issues with Cessna Citations Mustangs 510 they had four of these birds low hours. I ask CEO Henry why, he looked at me said they looked nice! Lots of money no sense, since sort had that children look offer him $310K for my choice of Mustangs, I give it to you for $210k sold on the spot.

210K for 510:eek: I have no idea what scheduled maint, annuals, etc. run on a twin turbine but ( no pun intended ) it's got to be way up there. I looked at some online Pics' and they all had full glass panel. Nice, but I'll stay with the 8KCAB.:)

Yes 8KCAb is nice little aircraft i do hope you enjoy the life!:) Since of have licenses for air frame and power plant and can use certain maintenance facility and have several people who can inspect and no touch has worked out pretty well I am up to date. I haven't been flying much due sickness and the restricts, weekly due engine run-up. flight control checks, check tires all that stuff.

When this covid thing gets under control and if you're feeling better I'll hop over from sna to avx and buy you a hundred dollar hamburger:) Heck, with your credentials you can take the 8k for a spin. Being an A&P definitely saving you a bundle on your 510. We have some pretty good contacts with A&P's at cno and helps a little with annuals, etc.
Best wishes to you HP

Sure looks like doors that would accommodate the BUFF adorning most of the hangars...maybe a B-36, too? Brrrrr...Visions of Eielson and Shemya...20 yards into the outdoors and the Pepsi was an instant frozen brick.

I can remember just getting engine oil on J-58, thawed I one time on Round Robin deal landing in England in the winter snow associate stuff. Next morning coming to the bird in like bread truck so up stand two guys helping me up to cockpit climbing in and standing there hooking up cables and hoses I looking around outside, plows clearing the ramp and taxiways. Thinking to myself don't worry about cleaning the runway first have to get this started!
