Interesting concept. Some of the reviews mention the gun falling out on bigger bumps. I know you have said in other threads you do a lot of back/forest roads so may be a issue for you.

Yeah I’ve seen those too.

A 10rd mag of 220gr hard cast lead isn’t light either. :D

Thinking I’ll play around with placement and see if there is even anywhere it would work. I can always stow it on bumpy roads too.

I do not use the Vulcan, but I do use the Gum Creek. I believe NRA offers a similar version. It fits below the steering wheel. You use the OPPISOSITE hand your would usually would use. Righties use a left handed holster and Lefties a right. Once you mount it, you'll understand. I purchased a cheap Uncle Mikes holster and haven't had a problem in something like 8 years.

Not so much freedom (yet) but for the a holes that want to car jack, home invasions or just plain unhinged.

An awful lot of people in Florida carry a weapon in their car. You don't need a CCW either. Three moves, they call it. I interpret that as , "Reach, Grab, Fire". That's 3 moves right?

Some years ago, Florida DMV had a rule that all rented or leased cars had to have a license plate beginning with an X a Y or a Z. No clue why, they just did.

People flying in from Europe and into Miami Airport were clueless. They didnt understand Amerika. You turn one way coming out of the Airport, you're fine, the other way, you're in Liberty City. Not so fine.

So the locals would carjack them without worry if they had a rented car plate.

It got so bad, Germany and most of Europe put a Travel Advisory out about it. Killed tourism.

So they finally figured out not to put X, Y or Z plates on rented or leased cars.

Well, the resident criminals of Liberty City got desperate and started trying to 'jack whoever they could that fit a certain description. The number of dead criminals skyrocketed. Bigly. It got really bad. So bad, the head of the NAACP appealed to the Mayor of Miami. whatev

Because Florida residents like Billy Bob will blow your face off if you try to 'jack him. It didn't make a lot of headlines (shock !!) but they finally figured out that it's a bad idea to try to 'jack somebody in Florida because.... They might run into...............,

Me :)

I have the center console and use two set ups. One is the Console Vault and the other is a leather inside the waist holster from JM4 Tactical. It uses very strong magnets to hold it in place. It mounts discreetly and holds solid in the side map pocket of the console, right next to my leg.
