My 2007, 5.9 was built when Daimler Chrysler were the Operatives. I can't tell you how many have owned the Dodge name since. But now, Fiat has merged with the French auto maker, PEUGEOT!
52 billion Dollar merger! The new company is called "Stellantis"
What's this "Truck" coming to?

Unfortunately in today's global market you need to be everywhere to stay in the game. Many times it is easier to make one out of two, then to just grow yourself.
Being everywhere with good footing is one thing but being taken over as if a pawn is another.

As bad as Ford gets ragged on in this forum, they've done a pretty good job of staying at the helm while maintaining a global footprint.
This ride started a long time ago. Daimler was just the beginning.

The Mini looks to be barely damaged!

Maybe it hit something else and just came to rest next to the mini. Remember the term crumple zone! Modern vehicles are designed to absorb impacts in the "crumple zone" to save those in the vehicle.

For a die hard MoPar guy who is feeling more and more like a Packard guy all the time, I do give Ford props- a lot. I especially admire how the brand and logo is unchanged since Henry was around, and that they never took government money. There is still family involved. What was it a week or 2 ago? When WPC’s great grandson griped about something? Oh, NOW you speak up? Daimler surely was the devil.
