Wanted to share this with the membership, could save you some inconvenience.
Went to start the 5.9 with under 42k miles, no click, no crank. Verified it was in Park, wiggled shifter, no dice. Glad it was in garage not out in the woods.
Batteries and wiring checked okay.
Decided to check basics before pulling starter and installing larry B contacts.
Checked for igniton start signal voltage to starter at firewall connector drivers side, ok there.
Jumped start solenoid wire to directly to battery positive and it cranked normally.
Plugged the single wire connector back together at firewall and has worked fine every time since.
All I can figure is a high resistance connection at the firewall connector, connector looked clean.
