If you think pulling the tank is a big job, you definitely don’t want to tackle deleting.

Add to that the very real possibility you cannot sell it later,.... Just fix it and move on some times mistakes are costly and we learn from them..
I have a feeling that these "deleted trucks" are going to get cracked down on and wouldn't want to own on if I ever needed to sell...

Sigh........ I have no problems with either my 39Hp or 32Hp tractors.. they both are Tier4 certified and have DPFs... I have great optimism if I use my truck as designed it will give me years of service providing I don't make bonehead mistakes... We don't live in the stone ages any more.... well at least not most of us.

Well it's a topic we don't have any influence on it. So even if we don't like it we have to comply.
Or emigrate to a less developed country....

As an American Citizen I have influence on everything the state does.

As to moving to a less developed Country? No thanks, no place in Europe appeals to me

Well this topic is going nowhere and clearly not helping the OP.. Any update on the DEF tank R&R and cleaning?

Removing it isn't that hard. Especially when it's already empty. Pull TC skid plate, disconnect lines, filler and vent tubes, Disconnect supply line to injector, support tank, remove right and left side bolts and partially lower tank, Remove electrical connector and drop tank out.
