hazard lights

I know this subject has been discussed to death BUT, I'm stuck and don't know where to go or look for HELP!!!!! my 97 dodge emergency lights don't work but everything else does, brake, turn ,wipers, high beam etc, on the turn signal lever. What I have done, replaced the turn signal multifunction switch, checked flasher relays driver side fuse panel, and checked the 20 amp fuse in fuse box in engine compartment. Took a volt meter and checked the 20 amp fuse in the engine fuse box and getting no voltage, tried hazard switch in both positions and still no power. WHAT AM I MISSING? IS THEIR ANOTHER FUSE OR RELAY SOME WHERE ELSE? Under the dash? I lost now don't no where to go next!

When you checked the flasher relays did you swap positions with them or something else?

I have found mine will work if I hold the flasher up and push it in, leading me to believe I have a problem on the back side of the fuse block with the wires and terminals the flasher mates with. I plan to address it when I pull my dash again when the weather is better.

Yes, I switched them and tried a new one.

I was thinking that, I'll see if I push on it, if it will work.

So I checked the connections and the flasher relay and all good, then checked for power at the relay and no voltage. Then went to the fuse panel in the engine, no voltage going to the 20 fuse. I'm stumped , is their a fuse under the dash?

So I think I have a plain of attack? since their is no power at the POWER DISTIBUTOR BLOCK, I would think that is the point where the hazard switch gets it's power, from the wiring diagrams I have, so I'm thinking of pulling the 20 amp fuse and using a jumper wire with a fuse in it and see if it powers it. Any thought?

No power to either side, fuse was good even tried another fuse and checked both post in the box where the fuse plugs into no power, so that's why I'm thinking it's in the POWER DISTIBUTOR BLOCK. That's why I thought to use a jumper wire. But can try my idea till I get the truck back from the transmission shop.

So, you’ll get power for your jumper wire from another source. I thought maybe you were saying you were going to plug your jumper in where the fuse plugs in which didn’t make any sense to me.

Yes, I was going to get the power off the positive on the battery with the alligator clip and then pull the fuse for the hazard and put the spade end of the jumper wirer in where the fuse was.

That should tell you if it's a power problem in the PDC which is what it sounds like ie. broken power wire etc.

Well it must be the power side of the fuse in the fuse box. I used a jumper wire from the positive side of battery to the opposite side of the fuse connection and they work. So this is what I ended up doing. I found a 12 volts source from a relay for aux tanks since I only have one tanks and the relay socket was not being used.
