Interesting day yesterday. Started up after a stop and engine sounded like turbo was scratchy. Upon searching under hood discovered a 3/4 inch threaded hole just above the DOC. Leaking exhaust. When I got home found the O2 sensor dangling from its connector. Will not detail what went thru my mind inbetween. Easy quick fix to screw it back in. No codes showed and no limp mode perhaps thanks to GDE tuning. Now have 140,000 km on my 2016 and very few problems. Guess I got a good one.

That is really unusual for one to come out by itself. Usually at that mileage they want to take the threads with them. Someone trying to steal the CAT?

I wondered that as well. Up here the thieves simply use a sawzall and take the whole pipe in sections and cut the wires.

I do not suspect foul play. The truck was parked for only an hour before it fell out and on a fairly well travelled street. Otherwise it is usually parked in my garage overnight. I fell if someone was trying to steal they would just cut the wires and not take the time to unscrew.
