Has anyone here used or adapted a power seat base for the passenger seat?

I used one out of a Dakota. It matched up to the floor bolt holes and the seat bottom.

Anyone have guidance for removing the legs from the power seat frame?

If there’s no nut on the other side, get the grinder out.

Yes, that is an option.

Only fastener needed to remove is the large Torx 50 bolt. Then, the slides slide out the back. Just note, one of the "blocks" that the torx bolt tightens into is plastic, try not to over do it or you will strip it.

So, your arrows are pointing at torx head screws, not rivets? I can’t see the torx head in the pics.

Here's a photo with the large torx head fastener that goes through the bracket into a plastic pivot that rides on the seat adjusting rod, one on each side. There are also what appear to be large rivets, however they I learned do not fasten the bracket as I earlier thought.
