Has anyone crossed the Ram NOx sensor part numbers to Cummins part numbers???

Curious about this. I beleive i need to replace my outlet NOx sensor, and was hoping to find a standard looking cummins part number on the back of it, but instead found OEM Ram/chrysler part numbers. Going to have my parts guy see if he can cross them or if maybe one is an actual cummins part #, but thought I would ask.

I don’t have an ESN for a ‘13 Ram, but the ESN I have for a ‘14 Ram doesn’t show an outlet NOX Sensor on QuickServe, so it’s probably going to be a Mopar part.

However, the inlet sensor for the ‘14 Ram is a Cummins 4326873RX. On our buses that use that inlet sensor, the outlet sensor is a 4326869RX. There is a current TRP for outlet NOX sensors in non-Ram applications where they’re replacing them under warranty on our ‘14 model buses. We don’t have ‘13 models so I have no ESN’s to check it with. The TRP lists several outlet NOX sensor part numbers, and from what I was told the only difference is the length of the cable.

I can post pics and labels of the 4326869RX tomorrow.

So my parts guy ran my serial number and came up with the same, no lick crossing or finding a cummins part number for the outlet. We do have one of thise cummins ones in stock, but my cost is still over $450 not knowing if it will even work for sure. My only real fear is if it will communicate properly with the RAM electronics. Aint life grand!

I installed a downstream Dorman sensor a few years ago, much cheaper and has been working fine.

Since the after treatment system is not a Cummins product, I suspect that they do not have an equivalent part for Ram trucks.

This is a Cummins 4326869RX. The cable is 15.25" from the metal on the sensor to the plastic on the module.

Definately not a match though, that one has the square 4 pin connector, where the Ram has a flat 4 pin. Appreciate the reply and pics though.

Yeah, I didn't think to post a pic of the connector. Thankfully it's still here on my desk.

The Inlet NOX Sensor is considered an engine part and can be found with the ESN on Quickserve. The Outlet NOX Sensor, even if it's a Cummins sensor, is part of the ATD and is listed from the vehicle manufacturer or you have to have the three numbers off the ATD to find the sensor part number.

Truth is that almost every sensor is the same, but give it a different plug, or label on the box and price seems to change...

I remember back when I had a '93 6.5 Chevy that needed an alternator... The specific "diesel" part was marked up $100 more than the same gasser part. I ended up buying the 454 one, and just removed three bolts, rotated 1/3rd of a turn, and installed!

What I'm trying to say is, it's probably the exact same, but only the plug is different!!!
