A while back the rats got to my engine compartment (since this happened, my peppermint spray has worked in the garage) but they made a mess out of that felt material the "heat shields" around the battery. I used Black Gorrilla tape as a temporary fix, but now wish to add new shields. (I am selling the truck)

So I would like to NOT use the OEM version (felt like material) and go with something more....should I say rodent resistant. I saw some on line which seems to have a nylon or? outer liner, but could not find anything online. Anyone no if they make these for our batteries? Or are they generic? If so I would have to measure to ensure fitment. TIA

My 2016 has the same crappy felt ones....but my lemon 2014 FCA buyback had different ones that were, what seemed to be vinyl covered foam. The mice recently got mine so one of these days I'm going to look into the parts list for a 2013-14 model.
