Figured it was time to put this in its own thread.

Mileage:43xxx
Sorry if this is a little all over the place .(i get like that) Please feel free to ask away for clarification
A few weeks back(could have been longer been feeling like groundhogs day around here.) I noticed the transmission was running a bit warmer than it normally did. Hitting 170's -183.
Normal warmup does not get hot fast seems like a slower build of heat. Temps come down when the water hits the 206 mark and fan comes on as it should. But playing around today i was able to keep the temps climbing by keeping the water temp below the fan engagement threshold using the heater.
All service performed as per om.
Also noticed the mileage and power seemed down.
Mileage hand calculated 13.3 combined lucky to hit 17 (lie o meter) on the highway these are empty numbers and hypermiling.
Not sure this example will make sense but it feels like when you drive a sort of under powered vehicle.
Lower rpm step on it and it pulls but not hard. But when it downshifts and gets into the upper rpm it feels more normal . But still lacking. Slightest bit of rise in the road or incline and the mileage just falls off. Iknow the t-stat is acting week running a little cooler and not stable temp wise. It may be some of this
Went to the Dealer And was told all normal . And could not find anything. was even given the checking procedure on how to check transmission fluid. And i can't make this up they could not comprehend that the fluid that the procedure calls out to be at 180 deg is not transmission fluid but water temp .
By the time i got it back the service writer told me the tech is hard headed and according to the tech "nothing is wrong and nothing will be wrong"
He also stated the truck gets 17 in town after a total of 4 miles for a test drive.
Before i head back to the dealer trying to get any idea of what might going on.
Thanks in advance
John
