Always where your seat belts but sometimes that alarm is not needed Makes me crazier than I am already. You tube tells me how but it doesn’t work . Help

On a 2019 I was able to switch it of, found an manual somewhere with Google.
The light is still on but no Dings.

Driver Ed taught me and Military training reinforced sequence: enter vehicle, adjust seat, fasten seat belt, check mirrors, do quick scan, etc...

I never hear the chime..

It’s a factory provided option to disable the ding. No altering required as it’s just a feature enable/disable.

The procedure is slightly different over the years but I was able to disable the one on my 2005.

I also needed several attempts on the 2019 till it finally worked.

I go thru two cattle gates about 200 yards apart that I must jump out to open and shut each before I get out to main road The ding is a pain in the butt.

Fastening my seat belt is so automatic,I don't even think about it. I hate hearing it too when my wife is with me, checks the mail and doesn't put her seat belt back on. I get out to check the mail, mail box is about 200 yards from my shop, I just automatically put it on. A whole two seconds to do it.
