The liners that go in the wheel wheels. Needed or not?
Easier to keep washed out or not? Does look a little more finished with them I guess. Let the discussions begin

I never drive deep mud. Only gravel occasionally I have 4 wheelers. That doesn’t mean I have not drove a lot of gravel or mud and have been stuck in snow or mud a lot. But I was working and in company trucks and was getting paid . I have put all 4 tire chains on as many as 6 times in a day in Wyoming trying to get to ranches to get the power back on In 23 years on my old 99 I never was ever in a wreck or got stuck once. Stayed on the road

Well, take them out and your tires throw the dirt right into your engine bay and all the way up to the hood and over the engine. There is nothing behind it, so I've no clue what your dealer was talking about of having them or not.

The OP is talking about the rear wheel liners.

I like them. The body work is thin. Stones will dent fenders. I think they are a good idea. I’m not happy with my dealer for not including them in my build

It keeps the "majority" of cr@p off your body work, easier to clean and keep clean.. The only reason they are not included on all models is cost, and trust me that thin injection molded mass produced plastic part probably costs them less than a buck or two. All the cost is in the tooling to make it which is spread over all the trucks made in that bodystyle...(millions)

Will the front block my oil filter change hole thru the wheel well . Taking the air box off looks like a pain. Where do you think the best place to get them. The dealer I think I will try first

The truck should have fender liners in the front, and there is a cutout where you reach through to get at the filter on the passenger side. (I can post a picture later).

Please do. I must have them on the front then. I read somewhere you couldnt have them with factory air suspension in the rear. My old 99 had Firestone air bags aftermarket installed They had to cut the liners a bit but the factory air bags are much further in than the firestones were.

Here is the front... see the oil filter access in the red box

Those plastic liners are basically a thin barrier between all the important "stuff" and the road debris and grime.... It is literally the first thing you take off doing most repairs, sounds counter productive, but I was quite good at removing them on my 04 to gain access.

Yes I think it has front ones. I will get rear ones. My snowblower just broke. In Alaska you need to get it fixed asap. Going after parts now
