Finally got around to making a filter adapter to go between the intake tube and air cleaner .

Local Napa is 175$ for the filter and I haven’t checked the dealer yet wix . Found the fleetgard with free shipping on eBay less than 80$

I didn't need an adapter on my '01. The oem intake hose ID was the same size as the OD of the filter intake.
