You can still get the Mopar one, thou it's more money.

With the supply chain issues I'd guess that Racor has an obligation to fill with Mopar before they can sell any with their own branding.

Yes, and the Fleetguard one but both are limited to two per customer. Still backordered for 30 days on the '19+ rear. I haven't checked elsewhere.

He should, but it’s technically an under bed Mopar filter but built by Racor.

Just like my truck came with a MOPAR under bed filter from the Factory but a smart person buys whatever costs less as they are the SAME. ORRRR unfortunately what is available!!!

I bought OEM mopar fuel filters for my 2020 3500 for $119 plus 12 shipping no tax .
dieselfiltersonline.com or call 866-574-1119

I added a Cat extra fuel filter, $190, back by the stock fuel/water separator. It is 2 micron filtration and I feel better as the stock filter on the engine is only 3 micron, so it should stay clean for a long time. Plus, it's only $17 at the Cat distributor. Much better than even the Gino's prices for the stock filters. I am tryin g to extend injector life for more than 150K miles. We will see if it works.

Most people here go way behind 150K with their injectors on stock filtration.
It was the early Gen3s that lacked filtration and quality of the injectors.
Nowadays injectors are almost for life.

Which cat filter?

Most of the aftermarket setups that use cat filters are using 20 year old specs for their marketing, which is a bit deceiving. The cat filters quit being the best filtration over a decade ago. They are good, but not the best. They really are a 4um filter by todays ratings. Old technology not designed for HPCR, which is why they are cheap.

The OEM nanonet media is better than Cat media. There isn’t a filter setup on the market that would make me modify the stock system and risk voiding a warranty. We have the best fuel filtration you can get right now.

That makes me feel better about having to spend $3K+ on new injectors anytime soon. I still think the added Cat filter will be a little extra insurance. And now that the stock filters are in short supply, I can at least keep changing the Cat filter.

You still have to change the OEM stuff at the proper intervals, even with the Cat filter.

Good to know about the Racor. I have used that brand since the early 80's and found they work good. I understand about the stock filter change interval, but if the stock filters were on back order for a short time, at least I could change the Cat filter. Filtration is the best way to make the injectors last.

No Racor option for your 22.

Keep a set or two of OEM filters on the shelf and you won’t have to worry about backordered filters.

The cat filter is only barely better than the OEM w/f Sep at filtration, but doesn’t separate water, and not as good as the engine mounted filter. I would not use it as an excuse to extend the OEM filter interval, just plan ahead.
