Can not reset "Perform Service" prompt

This is a 2017 2500.
The Perform Service prompyt came up to replace the CCV Filter.
I changed the filter then went through the procedure to reset sytem and eliminate the promt.
I have tried numerous time but the prompt still comes up.
At first the screen indicates "no saved messages" but upon start up the Perform Service prompt still appears.
Any ideas of what I am missing here?

This is what I've done to reset mine.
PERFORM SERVICE INDICATOR - RESET
The “Perform Service” message will display on the EVIC each time you turn the ignition switch to the ON/RUN position to indicate a emission maintenance is required. To reset the “Perform Service” indicator system (after performing the scheduled maintenance) refer to the following procedure:
1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position (Do not start engine).
2. Press and release the brake pedal 2 times.
3. Fully depress the accelerator pedal slowly 3 times within 10 seconds.
4. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF/LOCK position.
NOTE: If the indicator message illumination when you start the vehicle, the “Perform Service” indicator did not reset. If necessary repeat this procedure. ( May need to do 3 - 4 times)

The proceedure outlined in the following reply.
I have tried the accel pedal TWO times as in the manual. I have tried it THREE times. I tried it both time SLOWLY, then FAST. Then with the door open, then with the door closed.
I have removed my wedding ring and tried all of the above again.
I even tried it with and without sun glasses.
Nothing seems to touch this.

Just tap the peddle enough to turn the brake lights on twice, and then fully press the accelerator peddle three times. It's darn near the same as resetting the oil change reminder.

My truck's milage is a couple thousand miles shy of triggering the CCV “Perform Service” message but now is a good time for me to take care of it. I expect to be traveling when the regular time comes.

Question: Does anyone know if performing the CCV mileage counter reset can be done early when I change the filter BEFORE the “Perform Service” message show up? Or should I just perform the filter change now and wait until the message appears to reset it then?

You should be able to reset it now, but may not know if it took until you hit 67,500.

Thanks. Makes perfect sense. I'll go ahead do the reset procedure after the filter change then do it again later if needed.

On my 2018 and 2022 you hold the right arrow to reset the oil change reminder when you’re on the oil life page with the engine off.
