RAM HD Federal Emissions Warranties Info

After reading through all of the warranty books for each model year (as far back as 2014), I learned that the 2024 and older HD trucks (not C/C) only have a 5 year / 50,000 mile federal emissions warranty.

The new 2025 RAM HD pickup trucks now have the standard 8 year / 80,000 mile federal emissions warranty, just like light cars and light pickups.

The 2025 RAM HD C/C 3500>5500 trucks have a 10 year / 110,000 mile federal emissions warranty.

For folks primarily concerned with the DOC/DPF/SCR systems, this is better news!

If you are on the edge of buying a truck and keeping it intact with emissions, the 2025 and greater seems like a better buy, especially the C/C trucks.

The Verbage in the book for my 14 was a little contradictive as it called out all SCR components under the 5/50k section. But under the 8/80k section it mentioned all catalysts.
My SCR cat was replaced under T05 recall.

RAM cleaned the ambiguity up quite a bit in the 2025 emissions handbook.

I was rather disappointed with the emissions warranty on my ‘22 and with the DPF not being covered by the Max Care Mopar warranty.

The DPF on my ‘25 MB Sprinter is covered for 5/100.
