Greg, do ya ever get a 12000 pound gross trailer weight trip to check your MPG ? Just wondering since that is probably what I will be pulling with my new 3500. Thanks... 18Dodger18
Hey Guys, much different subject, but, what would any of you guys expect to get fuel-wise towing a 12K GVW trailer, all over, with your different rigs.. Just wondering.. Thanks fort your replys Olde Bob 18Dodger18
Going to order a new RAM 3500 next week. Now my wife asks me.. "Do we actually need a four wheel drive truck?" Good question dear... We are NOT going off-roading any more, we live in relatively level area of Ohio, no mountainous roadways, last few years snowfall has averaged less than 4...
Hey Buddy, maybe you have been asked this previously, if so, I missed your reply, but I see U R running a 4X4. Is there any reason pro or con, why an OTR guy like yourself would need a 4X4? And would there be any MPG numbers available to compare running a 4x4 vs a 4X2 the miles that U run ...

I'm sorry, Nick. I missed your previous answer... (duuhhh.. stupid me...) but, I read in the manual that the Ram wheel bore is 121MM, and I think that computes to just a very few one-thousanths more than 4.75...I don't wanta start an argument with ya, cuz U probly know more than me..
It's...

Does anyone know if the RAM 3500 Dually wheels will fit a Dexter 12000# axle? I've asked a dozen people, and have not yet received a definitive answer. I kniw that the Dexter 12K takes a 4.75 Hub piloted wheel, and our 3500 dually wheel bore are just a thousanths larger than 4.75, but I...
Nick,
One reason for thinkin' reg cab is some places we hafta deliver to, have limited space to maneuver a 48' trailer load of foam around in, I agree for travel comfort the looonger, the goooder, but we have the North East corridor as our delivery "lanes" and space ain't one of our "perks" up...
Luv yer Cherry...,
