I tried to get Ram to give me my money back or a fair trade in price with the lemon law. But the lemon law doesn't apply to this problem I was told by the NHTSA because this is the way they are designed by Ram. Doesn't make much sense to me it sucked having to lose $26,000 trading my truck in to...
Well you didn't work on mine did you. I even told the service tech to drive it for a week and they wouldn't because of the problem. They must've known it was a problem they are the ones that contacted ram. And driving a few samples is different than driving one every day for a week straight. And...
Mine wouldn't do it all the time so if you just drive a few examples you have no idea what the problem is drive one every day for a few weeks you will never want one again. Mine did it no matter what roll into throttle or mash didn't matter.
I filed a complaint they told me since there wasn't a serious accident yet they can't do anything. So I said I have to wait till me my wife or son die or be critically injuredfor you to do something something? They said they are not saying that. Was a waste of time typical government agency.
What your missing here is when you have 2 different truck like I did a 14 and 16 at the time, and the 14 was fine so you get used to it then try to enter or cross a highway with the 16 not remembering how this truck acts and it falls on its face in on coming traffic. It sucks having people flash...
I don't got rod my truck if I want a hot rod I just get out 1 of my 3 camaro's or 2 mustangs. I tow 20,000 lbs everyday from March through November from the west side of MI to the east side for my commercial roofing business. It's not that I need my truck to be fast it just needs to saftley...
Not trolling just saying like it is. I've put more than 1 million miles on Ram trucks and was VERY happy till Ram started making the new Rams unsafe to cross busy roads. I found out the hard way what they think of their customers.
I've owned 7 Cummins trucks over the years bought all of them new. Last one was a 2016 3500 crew cab Aisin suffered same problem unsafe throttle response. Ram refused to fix the problem after it was at the dealer for 2 months on and off for this problem. So I traded it in on 2 new 2017...
They won't fix it I fought with Ram for 2 months on my old 2016. They the engineers said it is designed that way so it will stay that way. Filled a complaint with that like for safecar.gov even talked to them they can't do anything they said until there is a fatal accident, so I asked what am I...
What you are experiencing is normal I used to run Rams had 7 of them in the last 17 years. Last one was a 16 3500 Crew Cab short bed Aisin with air suspension. I loved the suspension best I have ever seen. But I had the same problem I fought with Ram for over 2 months to get it fixed they said...
I just had my 16 in the dealership and the engineers from Ram were there for a whole day and they ran 4 final test on it to try to solve the problem but to no avail. They had one more test to do but they wouldn't do it since I just bough a power stroke 4 days before they said they were done...
Yes it does on some when mine was in trying to figure it out a 17 had come in also with same problem the owner refused shipment. drive it first before buying maybe yours will be fine they told me it is happening across the board not just on Aisin equipped trucks.
