  • 6bt....I have been exploring the option of putting a ctd in a dakota, for an interesting, "street rod"...concept.....I just saw your post, did you put a 6bt in your dakota...? I would love to see some pics and hear of how you stuffed it...thanks, Paul Aguilera
    If you are going to do a solid axle in a durango and use either pre 93 dodge or GM parts you will have to change the t-case, cuz the diff. is on the passenger side of the durango and the axle diff's are on the passenger side. I used Ford axles. and cut the front one.

    You could use a Ford reverse cut dana 44 front. Also Dodge changed their 1/2 ton axles in 1994 to be on the drivers side. i would imagine that would work also.

    What axel and suspention would you use for a Durango thats going to have a 4BT , im thinking a strait might be the ez way rather than the oil pan mod i like the 4bt powerd job thats on you tube but how is the suspention up front working the durango wont be wheeled at all
    if any just minor use and wife dont want a big lift maybe 33s and i got
    dana 44s in dodge half ton stuff and gm 3/4 ton stuff
