I use the truck for work so it sounds like I should just get one from the factory? But then it has to be installed and reflashed....and I'm assuming i lost my smarty s06 program....correct?

No sign of corrosion....in fact everything was immaculate....can I remove the ecu and send it out to be bench tested somewhere?

Ok I tried the ctrl alt delete method....no change....same condition exists....when I remove the ecu a and b connectors what should I clean them with?

Please excuse my ignorance....by tying them together that will automatically make the ecu reset? Thx for your help

Thank you....i will try this next...so do I pull the positive battery cables and tie the negatives at the battery together with jumper cables?

It's a third gen...and it's always garaged so I don't think it's moisture. Didn't know if anyone ever experienced this same sequence of events. I have never had electrical problems with this truck prior. In other forums people say it could be e cm or the pcm.....but not sure if it's that at all.

My 04.5 has been running great....parked it a few days ago ....went out to start and the lift pump cycles on and off repeatedly and cranks but won't start. Also code reader won't communicate with obd port nor will smarty programmer. Gauges don't respond with key on....fuel gauge reads empty and...

Dont sell yourself short....wait for the aisin...there is a night and day difference. I like stabs idea...see what the dealership is willing to do...or better yet call ram customer care and be nice to them...gotta be some other avenue to get the truck u really want

Hi all...Ive been gone a while and couldnt find this question anywhere else....does anyone know if there is a problem with the tpm sensors malfuntioning if you go up to a 19.5 on a 2014 3500?

I was told when I ordered my 14' that it would be available late in the model year, but the kicker was that it wasn't going to be available on the max tow equipped trucks. So if your looking for the high tow ratings it doesn't sound good.

Its Happening in 6th gear, so going down a gear may help. But the trouble is it is only doing it at a combined weight of 22,000lbs. The truck is rated for 37,500. I guess I just want to be able to use all my gears with no drone at all, at any weight. I mean lets face it; its a $70K truck!
