    Excellent article on DEF shortages

Some people make a career of getting hurt “on the job”. It may be cheaper to pay unemployment. No one wants an employee that just has to be there. You can make the work place as safe as possible and some people are just going to take advantage of the company. Insurance and legal fees just keep...

oil report - any opinions on fuel?

The 10w30 is not the correct oil. Who knows if it'll ruin your $10,000 motor? Get tractor supply, wal mart, or costco 15w40 if you need to save a few pennies.

    Failing Lower Hinge

On my 2015 it squeaked and popped for a while. Took it in and maxcare covered it with color matched paint at the body shop.

    Petroleum product in DEF

I had a 7 yr 70,000 warranty and my truck had around 77,000 when the def pump crapped out. I remember when I was getting the max care warranty I could have gotten the 85k warranty for only a $150 more. I wasn't thinking clearly, but I only missed the mileage by a little bit. I was driving way...

    Petroleum product in DEF

The def pump for 2013-18 is a different part number. For my 2015 I got it for $999 on eBay through an authorized mopar seller. Online parts places were around $1300 and I think the dealer was around $1800. I wonder if the newer pump could be made to work on the older trucks some day?

    Def

It’s a different parts number for previous years. I’m glad they are getting more reasonable in price. How did your son’s girlfriends truck turn out?

    Def

What year truck? If it's still under warranty take it in. It could be a computer flash or it could be the def pump. Or something else. Mine had p20e8 and 9. I replaced the def pump and it is working correctly now. Paid $999 on ebay. New mopar pump. The pump will run you around 1800 at...

    DEF nozzle, rusted nuts

I can’t offer anything on getting the bolts out but I wonder if you all that live in the northern states could pay special attention to those bolts in preventative maintenance. Maybe covering them in a high temp silicone or similar. The ones on my 15 are stainless steel I believe. I ordered a...

    2015 Advise ,Delete or Not?

Clean the def injector and the hole where it goes first. make sure the resistance between the two pins is around 11-13. Put it all back together. Crank it up and see if you can hear the def pump clicking while the truck is running. When my pump went out I didn’t hear the pump ticking every...
