    According to the shop that built the transmission... . without computer control, there's no fourth gear. I assume they are correct. If you mess with the throttle position sensor(accidentally press the throttle while the key is on but the motor is not running) it will screw up the shift points...

    Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Cummins head gaskets

    I used the cummins head gasket on my 01 with 12mm ARP head studs. I torqued the studs to ARP specs and lost the head gasket less than 100 miles later. I talked to Piers and they recommended ignoring ARP and torqueing 125ftlbs. Just giving you the heads up.

    I haven't had any starting problems yet(fingers crossed). I still have the regulator that came with the pump, I can't figure out why the pressure jumped all of a sudden. Doese anyone make a hose assembly that bypasses the OE lift pump?

    I Have talked to three shops, and have two answers. How much pressure from the lift pump to the VP44 is to much? I have installed a Holley Blue Pump pushing through the factory pump. When I first installed, my Attitude read 15-18 psi dropping to 9-10 under full throttle. Now, a couple of weeks...
