I've got an NV5600 with 4. 10s, so I always need to shift halfway thought a turn from a stop; it doesn't really bother me anymore, I guess I'm just used to it, though. But I do notice that I slip the clutch a lot more starting in 3rd than 2nd.

Bleach will soften rubber (some spray it on their tires to add smoke to burnouts... . whatever), I don't know if it affects all kinds or just the compounds in tires, but it might be something to watch out for.

With a stock fuel delivery system, you won't push over 15psi. If you have an aftermarket fuel pump (eg. Walbro, FASS, AirDog, etc... . ), you'll probably be in the low 20psi range.
