I want to eventially replace my crank shaft damper. Which would be the better one, the fluid damper or the super damper??? I was leaning twards the super damper becuz its closer to the stock weight. The Fluid damper is 10 lbs or so over stock and i dont want to have premature main bearing failure due to this. Am i over reacting with this much wieght over stock???

I remember an article about the (block 53 problem) in 24 valve engines where the block cracks big time. I cant remember what issues it was in and i was wanting to check my 2002 pickup to see if mine had the markings on the engine block. Does anyone know what issue that was in???
