Truck must have been running off of the batteries alone...went out this morning to fire it up and it turned over once and click click click.

The codes have been cleared and all the connections cleaned. I left the grid heater cable off and will see what happens in the morning. Batteries are 2 or 3 years old and load tested good.

I replaced mine with one from auto zone. Was the only place in town with one and at the time I needed it now. Seems to be doing the job and has a lifetime guarantee. Exact stock replacement.

I have the same problem with my HTT 64. It definitely gets annoying having to pull over and clear a code. I have also contemplated changing my set up in order to get rid of the problem.

I've had the same problem with mine. Usually stab the filter with a long screwdriver and turn them off. The spot that I put the pump is tucked up high so it's hard to get my filter wrench in there.

I had 1 that was built in china that went within a year but was covered under warranty so we will see how long the second one will last. I also could not find one not made in china
