I've had problems with syncros using royal purple so i wouldn't recomend it. Had to replace 3rd and 4th gear syncros and went back to the factory mopar fluid and had no issues. Now swapping in a 6 speed
Hey thanks crwilliams that makes it a lil easier I figured on a few of the things and got the dd clutch and starter spacer x member n stuff was thinkin it can't b that bad to do
If ur not getting the pressure ur supost to r had it change on u there may b blockage in the lines r the spring may b getting week, call up fass and they'll send u a new one no charge. I just had them send me one and it's fixed pushing around 44 to 45 again. Mine is a 12v tho...
Wantin to do this swap in my dads 92 soon but with a nv 4500 instead. any place good to get adapters n keep the 205 t-case? What about the pedals? anybody have a set they'd sell r know if sum out of a second gen trk will work? Thanks, Ben
Glad u've had good luck with urs. I'm on my 6th one now. Had 5th gear nut back off then replaced with upgraded nut that backt off while on the pedal buildin boost so gears came outta full mesh with each other and stript all teeth off then bought complete diff. trans out of an '01 tach welded...
That's what i was thinkin n told b that the 5600 was stronger a better od and not so much of a gap between gears for towing. anybody have a link to somebody that has converted? altho i don't think it will b to hard to swap it from a 5sp. Nv4500 swap still for sale
