Disconnect both negative battery cables for a half hour..... problem will be solved. It's a computer glitch, don't know how or why(or anything but how to turn on this PC) but it works. Brian

My single disc had no other info , just channel number. I upgraded to the REC/NAV.

REC Nav is a plug and play direct replacement. Buy the unit, buy a double din bezel and spend an hour swapping it. They usually come with the Nav antenae... it plugs in an there is a special place for it under the flat dash panel. Does not play DVD's, but it uses a DVD for Navigation, there...

If it's the e-bay one from hotbox... they are nice. I have one, upholstry match is dead on... . fit and finish is top notch... price is reasonable. It will set the console up 1-1/2".

That's the stock single disc from an 06'... . I have the same one I pulled out when new... . I'd sell it for $100... saving someone way more than from buying from that guy.

Mine didn't start the short cycle of the dome light until after I had the PCM reflash for bad mileage. I think it is also bundled with a battery maint. program and that's what I attributed the short cycle to. My overhead still tells me it's -40 outside when it's well above 80 occasionally...

I just got the 6681 and 6682 from Summit Racing for $74. 95 ea. They are the stainless with the black boots. Made for trucks with 1-3" lift.

Mines a QC but the install is the same. I put an Alpine 400watt 4 channel amp under the drivers seat, lots of room, out of the way. I also replaced the front door speakers with JL Audio VR690's(3 way 6x9) and the rear doors with JL Audio VR600's(2 way 6") and put infinity 3-1/2" in the dash...

There are many on e-bay, new they are $144 from DC, on e-bay they can be had for $65-85 with the buy it now option. I'll look for the factories website, looked at it a few times but not sure if I bookmarked it. Brian
