    3/4 & 1 ton frames different from 1/2 ton?

Thinking of swapping out my frame for one w/ out as much rust—I’ve had to weld up more than what I want to already. So, can I use a 1/2 ton frame? Is there a difference?

    Tired coil springs?

Update: Installed a set of the yellow Bilsteins, ride is way better. So no, I don’t believe my problems was tired springs. But having said that, I’m not so sure a different set of springs might ride better. Thanks for all the input/replies.

    Tired coil springs?

I appreciate everyone’s input on this. I think like most components, the springs have an expected service life given how many work cycles they are put through along with environment. Tired coil springs?

I don't doubt they done even if they aren't totally blown. I'm just wondering what's the expected service life of those stock springs after carrying the 4WD & the Cummins for nearly 200K..

    Tired coil springs?

So I've put about 10K on this truck. It's bone stock, 180K miles, & have just been taking care of things as they arise (some things have risen & are still waiting..). The tires were shot when I got it, so I put on a set of 265/75-16's Winterforce w/ out studs I had from another truck. It rode...

    2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Rotor/caliper crossover fit question

Found a video where a guy puts on a rotor/caliper assembly for a 2005 onto his 2001 2nd gen. He says the rotor/caliper for a 2005 will direct fit onto 1998-2001 2nd gens. He offers parts numbers in the description but doesn't say the manufacturer. I've looked online but can't find a resource...
