Unloaded, I run the TST either at 1x0 or 3x3 and go easy on the throttle. EGT is about the same as you on 1x0 but about 1350-1400 on 3x3 Loaded, I run 1x0 and hit about 1150 on EGT. . running on 2x3 is fine too, but higher settings and EGT climbs quickly.
