wel, the last few messages don't fair well for me.
I've had my Terra Grap's (305X70X17) for about 500 miles. They are a very quiet hwy tire, comparable to stock.
In the few short weeks I've had them I have already experienced deep snow, ice, and slush, and dry hwy miles. The tires have...
Thanks for all the replies. I decided to go with the Nittos. I have heard too many stories about the DW with BFG 315s, plus the Nittos are cheaper too. I ordered them from Discount Tire, and I go pick them up next week. I'll let everyone know my impressions when they're on.
Thanks for the replies, it is much easier to get feedback through this site than to weed through all the SUV and small truck reviews on the tire sites. I'm leaning to the Nittos because of looks and E-rating, plus they are not too much more than the BFGs.
I heard that lots of BFG A/T owners...
Its time for new tires, and I need some input. Whenever I look at the reviews online, everyone has these tires on their 4runner, or s-10. I need reviews from people who have the same truck as I.
I am looking at the BFG A/T 315/70/17 load range = D
or the Nitto Terra Grapplers 305/70/17 load...
They want $140 for the base and lid, since the slots are broken on the base, and there is one tab broken on the lid.
$60 sounds good for the base, but it says with purchase of a cold air kit (another $99)
Thanks for the idea, I'll try get it warrantied, if not does anyone have a stock box...
Would temp. have anything to do with it then? I live at 8000 feet, and winters are darned cold. I drive up to Carson City Nevada for servicing, and even there it's still pretty cold in the winters.
Am I the only one this happened to? I searched forums to no avail.
I have an 07, and the tabs and slots on the air filter box are broken or cracked. I don't believe it is letting in any air after the filter, but to make sure I had to use some C-clamps to hold the box closed. What is the...
there you go, that would look pretty good. Go for it.
If you want your red to match the body you can order factory matching aerosol spray cans here:
Aerosol Spray Paint, Spray Cans, Lacquer Clear Coat, Lacquer Primer
you could paint it. It's not a piece that will receive a lot of abuse, so it shouldn't peel or chip. sand it and scuff it good. Use a good primer, and then several coats of your base color. you might even want to throw a clear coat on there too. Depends on if you want it shiny or not. You could...
Sorry BillVo, I ment to address the original poster not you.
And the heavier spring on the driver's side accomodates driver weight and the fact the fuel tank is on the driver's side.
I know that the infinity system is powered by a factory amp, so I believe that the speakers were plugged into that, then the head unit. So you probably bypassed those speakers. See if you can find a wiring diagram for your year stereo, search crutchfield or google. You can find out what color...
your sig. says you have an 01, but I am sure the Infinity systems are relatively similar.
you can download wiring diagrams here for 05-07 trucks.
