Pillar speaker wiring?

After having my truck for 3 year's, I just noticed the speaker's in the pillar's don't work. Where does the wire go to? Does it connect to the door speaker's or to the head unit. All this time I had the infinity system and it could sound so much better!#@$%! Thank's for any help.

your sig. says you have an 01, but I am sure the Infinity systems are relatively similar.

I forgot to mention that I installed an Alpine head unit 2 year's ago, could they have been powered through the factory head unit?

I know that the infinity system is powered by a factory amp, so I believe that the speakers were plugged into that, then the head unit. So you probably bypassed those speakers. See if you can find a wiring diagram for your year stereo, search crutchfield or google. You can find out what color the wires are, get the appropriate wiring harness and you'll be good to go.
