Sorry for the delay, we were traveling home from Yuma. $1300 sounds like a lot of money to me and is there any warrenty, do they guarentee results and references. These would be some of the questions I would be asking
bob
I haven't seen anychanges for mine, still running the same old baking soda and water and still getting that ridiculious milage improvement, like 11to 13 but what do we know!!!
bob
I had sent u a post before we left for home but apparently it did not go through. Yes we did use the blue foam as underlay. If you give meyour email address I will send u a couple of picture of what we did on the 99 Montana
bob
Opps
fogot to add as I see yours is a older unit. On our Montana the slideouts were raised up about a 2" and we did use a undercut saw to remove the old carpet. It did a good job of removing the old carpet under slideouts allowing us to slide the new laminate under slide edge
bob
Yes I did the laminate and it does float, I did not do the slides and the one I looked at the other was the same way and he has slides on each side in kitchen area. The slide lifts over the flooring when it comes in. As the flooring fills the whole main floor it should not move. We left about...
We did our 99 Montana and will be doing our 06 Montana as soon as we get back from the MOC raley at Canyonville. I saw one like ours, and it is easier due to slide layout.
So gets her new flooring asap. It took me about a day to remove carpet, clean and install new floor. Cost us about $150...
OK I use one quart canning jars, like six of them,to hold the water and baking soda!!!!
Maintance wise, When traveling long distance like 3-400 miles I do open tool box, look at jars to see what color and if they are low on water on a daily basic, like checking the oil level after a hard pull. If...
the question was asked about maintance and why is not everyone jumping on this. IMHO I believe part of the reason is you have to check jars on a regular basic, like open tool box and visually look at fluid levels. Is the fluid real dark brown and need changing.
Do the wire need changing. I had...
Well expenses are;
canning jars and rings free, got from wife (have to return sometime)
baking soda free swiped out of kitchen
distilled water 84 cents a gallon
relay $7. 00
misc hoses,nuts,bolts,wire about $20
stainless wire $9. 95 a 50' roll
lots of fun playing with it and showing...
update on my fuel economy. Drove from Yuma to Lebanon, Or 1339 miles. I turned unit off when we left and and averaged 9. 8 to 10. 2. At Hawthorne turned unit back on and milage improved to 13. 6 and 14. 2 I refueled at Burns Or and drove over the pass home using 18. 6 gals which I felt was...
We know they don't work but my first real pull, Lebanon, Or over the Cascades to Burns only used 19 gals vs 25-26 for other trips. We drove 1805 miles toYuma via Salt lke and Bryce canyon using 145 gal. Our trip hoe last year homedrove1258 and 129 gals. You figure it out must be the plesabo...
IMHO it is simple, it does work, so why do you not build or buy it?? Why make all the silly posts. I realize that when I talk about the "water for gas" 50% of the people will not accept the concept and just smile and shake their head. OK fine, but making the posts about how dumb, or it cannot...
