thanks twest for the info,i am going to try fca first, i ran the test for the tsb 14-004-05 all the testing pointed me to that. i know other things could cause this but i need to start somewere.

working on 05 dodge 3500 4x4 tubro diesel,this thing starts then stalls,when it does stall,the fuel pressure set point is 5,800 to 6,000 the actual fuel pressure goes up to 10,000 then stalles. only code stored was p0341,reading data , the cam senser is doing its job . using snap on scanner...
