I put my EGT probe in on my 01 in the manifold right at the exchange another good way to collect the shavings is to take a good shop vac and have someone help you or set it up so that the hose stays right close to where you are drilling and as it will have enough suction to pull the shavings...

Rusty, do you think that it is something to worry about? i changed my air filter and it dropped to about 12.5 PSI so I still curious as to if the Manifold Pressure would be to much at 40? or what does anybody think I just don't want to Blow a gasket or anything of that sort.

High Manifold Pressure? 40 PSI too high? So i have an 08 with full deletes and had a Race ME programer and never had a problem but now that I am Running a Smarty JR my Edge Insight CTS keeps alerting me that my manifold PSI is going over 40 PSI is this a normal thing that I should not worry...

Yes any one of the is going to be inaccurate the Edge juice with attitude is the same as the CTS except a few frilly alarms and a cool down timer and timing advance is the only difference for gauges at least I hate it all around I will for sure by gauges and will never buy or recommend Glow...

I would have to say you are right on track to what would be wrong i have never had that kind of problem but just from the electrical knowledge i have i would say you are correct!

So from what i have been looking up on all these forums on the internet both the watch dog and the CTS are junk for anyone who really needs gauges #@$%! 1. Boost is inaccurate 2. No Fuel pressure on Gen 2. 3. No transmission temp on Gen 2. NV5600 4. Lots of programming glitches! 5. EGT adapter...

RE part numbers I have just replaced all the seals on my 01 on my transfer case and the output on my NV 5600 i have the part numbers all at the shop i can get them to you tomorrow morning

if you are looking for a good set of gauges that have been damn good gauges try glow shift gauges they sell the whole kit and all you just pick out your gauges they have one that has boost EGT and Fuel press all in one gauge i would check them out pretty nice gauges for sure!
