I haul alot of heavy loads (2000-4000 lbs) in the bed and get what I call shuddering in first gear when starting from a light. Is this due to axle wrap, over loading or a transmission problem?

Thanks, ill look around for that. Just normal driving through the rocky mountians. I am olny getting 5000 mi out of an air filter before its dirty wet and the filter reminder is sucked all the way down.

Anyone having a problem with their 2003 stock air filter geting wet in the snow and rain. Where is the water getting in? ( through the lid and box or through the air inlet through the fender). What solutions do you guys recomened. Thanks

I forgot to ad to the post above the oil is Delo 400 and Flettguard filters. I only drive the truck on weekends and or long trips. So it sits and gets run(good or bad i dont know). I also run power service every other tank. any other sugestions would be great thanks Bruce

With the service plan oil change recommendation at 7,500 heavy use and 15,000 light use what do you guys think of changing the oil every 10,000 and oil filter and fuel filter every 5,000. thanks, Bruce
