I also agree with these guys. I replace all my own joints as well, but have been doing it for yrs. It is a job one needs help with the first few joints. If you try it yourself the first time, it could end up costing you way more than $400 bucks. It is a job that is hard to explain in print...

My lift pump died going 70 mph down the interstate. It had NO previous signs of failure. The truck shut off just like turning off the key, but all the lights were on. Luckily it happened close to an off ramp and we coasted very close to a gas station. This happend at 65k miles on the truck...
