    Factory 05' turbo air guide fins, remove??

    "New" 05' 2500 Reg Cab 4WD 14K miles, stock except i replaced the inlet silencer cylinder with my own machined aluminum cylinder and noticed the curved guide fins in the elbow before the turbo. Turbo whine increased appreciably but I am wondering if there is any gain in the bottom end by leaving...
