I have a 2500 05, QC/SB/auto 4x4. Right around 70-85 mph, 2100-2500 rpm on the tach the Cummins really starts to drone in the frame of the truck. It's not the typical 70 mph vibe drivetrain issue, my frt end is smooth as glass. This is just an annoying drone due to engine rpm and a very stiff frame perhaps. Any fixes? I doubt it.

I have a noticable vibration right at 2200 rpm on my '03, but onlt for about a 100 rpm range. I just go a little above or below that speed.

2000 RPM Vibration

I too have noticed a vibration. My early 04 seems to set up an annoying resonance right around 2000 rpm. It doesn't matter what gear I am in. Also it seems to be coming from inside the cab-around the driver side door or the pillar. I have jostled things around and disassembled and assembled several things to no avail. Anybody have any ideas?

I notice all sorts of vibrations as well. I just block out all the annoying noises and listen to the beautiful whistle of my turbo, grip the wheel a little tighter, give it some gas, and say to my self, "thank god I am driving a CTD. " Ok OK, back to reality, my best suggestion though, is just turn up the radio a bit. ;)
