Passenger door for 2004 Quad 3500

There should be a lot of salvage stuff in the near future form down here on the Gulf Coast. Let the buyer beware for storm damaged vehicles and parts. Corrosion and bad electrical parts will be pretty easy to red flag these units.

Can a gen III ECM "learn" ?

Since the diesel doesn't need constant babysitting on air fuel ratio, like a gasser, the O2's, a true mass air and several other sensors are not used. Since alot of the ECM / PCM adaptive strategy is based on those sensors and A/F ratio and spark timing through the knock sensor, the need for a...

    Rokktech Crank Sensor Installed...

I got mine in the mail and it took longer to dig out some tools and the floor jack than it did to change the sensor. Good seat of the pants feel and works well with a Diablosport Power Puck ( boost and fuel pressure fooling ) so far. I just put a couple of miles on it after the install so I...

    Has anyone dyno'd a stock CR610?

How are you getting an RPM signal ? Are you using an optical pick-up ?

    MBRP "600" Muffler

I tried the 90 HP setting on the 'Puck last night, and the turb spools really nice. I'm getting used to the sound, as it does sound like a big-truck inline six now, which isn't bad, just as you said "different". When I "pour the coal" to it, the turbo making boost is still louder than the...

    what guage should I get

I'm with Steve, if you're towing or seriously off roading, then the trans temp becomes critical.

    MBRP "600" Muffler

I just installed one today on my '04. 5 that has a Power Puck and an AFE drop in filter. I'm not sure about it yet. I'm still used to the sound of a gas V-8for a performance sound, so it may take a little getting used to. I drove it back from the shop and the turbo seems to spool a bit faster on...

    How to clean the turbo

I thought it was Jack Daniels that was bad for your liver... Oo. :-laf

    First Oil Change

I'm another one that likes to get around 500 miles on a new engine and dump the oil & change the filter. On a flat tappet race engine, I pull the filter after the first 30 minutes of run time ( cam & lifter break in ) and cut the filter open to look for metal. If it's clean, I install the inner...

    Timing on '05 (sensor ?s)

I ordered one last night and I'll get a chance to check it out when it arrives. Right now I'm doing a 85 mile RT commute to work 7 days a week, it's all interstate so it goes quickly. The fuel is running $2. 75 / gallon so work is costing me quite a bit right now. Hopefully this will pick up...

Splice and dice a "BIG HORN" emblem ;)

I went the opposite way and shaved everything off my truck except the CTD emblems on the front fenders. Slick and smooth as a "Hardwood Floor". :-laf

    ahhh... MUCH better....

I put a set of clears on my Atlantic Blue '04. 5. Now they don't stick out like a sore thumb. The clearance lights are OK on a dual rear wheel, but they look a little goofy on a SRW.

    600 engine, 4" vs.5" exhaust

Mark, I spoke with Kenny today, faxed the applications, etc. and I ( www.s-aenterprises.com ) am one of your new dealers. I may have to do some "product evaluations" in the very near future. I am "test driving" a Power Puck and am pretty happy with the results so far.

    600 engine, 4" vs.5" exhaust

Trying to figure out whether to go with a 5" turbo back or a 4" with a cat test pipe exhaust on my 04. 5 6 speed. The truck will probably see a Power Pup or a Power Puck and an AFE cold air in the near future. I am looking to keep the exhaust note very civil as I live in town and hate noisy...

    Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Need a little Turbo theory !!

We had a technical discussion about Turbos and back pressure at the shop the other afternoon. The discussion centered around: If you remove backpressure from the after turbo portion of the exaust system, what is the result in manifold Boost PSI: reduced pressure or no change. The subject...
