    Happy Friday to you.

I am the guy who sold you the OD Lockout some time ago. I have a question that I am hoping you can help with. I know you are not a fan of the TSB 21-006-07 but I went to have this done yesterday at a Vegas Dealer and it didn't take. They reflashed again this morning and still no luck. They say the problem is on my end. Any suggestions?

    Thanks
Gracias - I know some ex-ATS techs up in denver who might be able to help over the phone - appreciate all the other help on the beef-up advice.

Cerb - thx for all the advice over past few months - have the transgo kit and was installing on my 48RE VB - ended up with 1 part that doesn't look/feel right.
I removed the Governor plug end plate to clean up - when reinstalling, the shuttle valve (SV) plug fell out and 1/4"x1.5" orange spring was nearby on the bench - I reinstalled the plug w/that spring, but then the SV plug does sit below the VB - I recall that all 4 plugs under the Gov plug plate were slightly raised (maybe .125") above the VB surface when I first removed the plate. All are still OK with exception of that SV plug - the orange spring actually binds itself into the plug and shuttle valve, it does not slip fit like all others in the VB.
    1) Should all 4 of the gov plugs lie above flush as the plate is installed?
    2) Ares the SV plug and spring a 'loose fit'?
    3) If I in fact have 'found' the wrong SV spring, suggestion on where to find a replacement? Color?
    Many thanks in advance!

Thankyou for the information , I would like to add you as a friend as you seem to know your turbo diesel and I am a new fish in diesel pond!!! Don't get me wrong, I have lots of skills in the engine land BUT this is my first diesel and I use her to pull all my other toys. I am doing my best research work first,by the way I have seen you in our TDR, and hope to make some new friends like yourself!! My goalis to build a 6-700hp tow rig that can go the distance. Thanks again!!
Going over to mechanic buddy's to do rear pinion seal today. He has a 45' x 70' shop in back yard with 2 truck lifts which makes it nice. Our wives have known each other since kindergarten and he & I have been friends for 30 + years. They followed us out west about 20 years after we moved from Nebraska.
IIRC, with AC you have to remove all the stuff under the dash from the inside of the cabto swap them out. On further thought its the same way without AC. All that stuff under the dash on the passenger side comes out in one piece after removal of bolts around it.
