I replaced my 315 BFGs with 295/70/17 Nitto Dura Grapplers. I'd rate them as great tires except the wear rate and no E rating. Only got 30K miles out of them, so Discount Tire credited me with $75 per tire which I applied to Hancook Dynapro AT/Ms, also same size (295/70/17). My buddy has run...
You have to take off the door panel, and then carefully (gently) press in the tabs that hold the entire switch assembly into the door panel recess. Start at one end and work your way along. Once the switch panel is out, it's easy to access the switches.
Another common problem area is that the wiring loom gets kinked between the door and frame. This happened to my speaker wire and door lock on the driver's side rear door. I fixed it myself, but apparently there is now a TSB on it. Something to consider if you have an issue again sometime down...
Just finished having the re-program for DRL done at Perkins Dodge in Colorado Springs - free of charge. Took 5 minutes. Service manager himself did the Starscan, and apologized for the negative experience I'd had elsewhere. A good day!
Am wondering if you got any farther on this? I'm happy to help with the install whenever you decide on the process. Any chance before we head to Glenwood Springs?
Today I decided to walk into Colorado Springs Dodge, where I bought my '05. I won't repeat the long and horrid experiences I've had with this dealership, but after boycotting them for several years, I decided to see if they'd reason with me and reflash as per Dan's advice above. I was initially...
Your bracket replaced the drilled mounting hole for the steering damper that the 3rd Gens had, but you still have the flat area where the hole was drilled. If you can simply drill the hole for the steering damper through the flat area, then you can remove the bracket and get the clearance you...
Does a 2010 RAM 3500 require a rear differential additive? I am looking at upgrading to a larger MAG-HYTEC cover and they recommend the additive, however I am getting conflicting information. Thanks in advance!
This has been an very interesting thread. Sorry about all the hassle. I think you should exercise your right as a consumer/loyal customer and berate the dealer and Chrysler to at least contribute something to solving your dissatisfaction (notwithstanding what is in the works by ACerf). The...
Good post! I see they're also offering deep discounts for the other Dodge Cummins years/models. Many thanks for posting - just in time to replace my exhaust!
I had very similar problems after installing a new valve body. It actually threw codes because it was so rough. I had the pressures checked and the bands adjusted. Works OK now. I also installed a lockout switch for O/D in the knee bolster. This lets me keep the truck in 3rd when towing the...
Yep - I'm laughing. That's hysterical! I wonder what circuit is crossed to cause enough noise or interference to affect the Co-Pilot? Perhaps the shielding is insufficient or the power tap is wrong on the wiring? Who knows? At least you know the work around.
I have a faulty Co-Pilot, but it isn't exactly as you've described. Depending on where I set the lock-up using the up-down arrows, it will send a confusing signal to lock and unlock the TCC when throttle is applied. The frustrating thing is that when I have it set with the blue LED all the way...
Turns out that it was the Co-Pilot. Pressures checked out OK. They did adjust the TTVA very slightly, but everything worked fine on the test bench. During the road test, it was discovered that if the Co-Pilot select arrows were scrolled, the TCC signal for lock-up was screwing the signal up for...
