I for one would welcome any one who can show me how to actually get a centrifuge up and running on my truck. There is no doubt the centrifuge does in fact work.
The logistical problems are
1. oil pressure to spin the centrifuge, without sacrificing oil pressure and volume to run the engine.
2...
Glen:
I worked for over a year attempting to get a spinner II to work on my 6. 7.
It was a no go. Most of the issue was related to the Oil Return. both the 5. 9 and 6. 7 have a 5/8 inch spare turbo oil return port to the sump.
Most of these centrifuge devices require 1 inch plus return...
The Letter I received from Flying J stated it would be business as usual. So far the fuel prices are still the best in the area. Some of the fuel outlets have employees who are less than they should be and do very inappropriate things causing negative customer reactions such as forcing customers...
Bob is this problem on the 4x4 or also on the 2x4. I have never experienced this on my 2007 - 6. 7 it has the new rack and pinion steering. the only problem I have had was one loose steering link pin. I replaced both. Did a 4 wheel alignment need to go back for a minor touch up. I have over...
I use good old fashioned Saddle Soap on not only the Steering Wheel but also on the Seat as well. I leave the can in the consul and any time I feel the icky steering wheel or the clingy seat out comes the sponge and I apply a coat of Saddle Soap. One can costs $8. 00 and lasts at least 5 years...
It was not my Dad who drilled that one into me but the sentiment is there. Had to fix a lot of similar problems after some lazy individual did the last fix with pliers. Same goes for crescent wrenches when a box wrench is called for especially the cheap nuts used on some of the equipment today
I have been trying to tell people that this truck is Cummins all the way.
The entire Engine, fuel delivery, Intake and Exhaust is Cummins/Fleetguard all the way. My truck is stock after 182 K Km and until the EGR totally plugged up has run every day since I bought it in June of 07. My truck is...
I got 56 MPG quite regularly with both my 2003 and 2005 Jetta TDI but with my wife's 2004 Beetle TDI 47 MPG is as good as it gets. My 2007 6. 7 is a nominal 20 MPG
I have over 100,000 Miles on my 2007 6. 7
Please note this attached Odometer photo reads 163552 Km or 101626 Miles
Currently I have 182,150 Km or 113182 Miles
Here is my story with the AY Reflash.
Key to the process did the Tech use the boot loader process?
The 07 requires the bootloader approach as the ECM memory is not sufficient to handle an update with out first erasing the portion of memory reserved for operation.
After a reflash it takes about...
Just as a verification I went to my local Cummins dealer and he verified that indeed Cummins/Fleetguard makes the DPF components as used on the Dodge/Cummins. Not to start a war but do not state incorrect opinions when the FACTS speak for themselves.
First, Cummins manufactures and uses the BlueTec system as invented by Daimler.
Second, I have monitored and analyzed my oil from day one and only before 52,000 Km did I have any fuel dilution >1% in my oil since that point my oil analysis to this point 179,000 Km I have had 0% fuel dilution...
