I was thinking along the lines of 150 hp injector nozzles. Anyone know how much that would increase my exhaust temp. , and where I can get them the cheapest or maybe a price range?
About the only time I use my truck is when I'm towing something for my farm or when I want to take it out on the weekends and show off. The most I probably tow is somewhere around 24,000 pounds.
I know this is a little off subject, but I have an International Harvester MD, and I need to have the injector pump rebuilt. If anyone can help me here or maybe point me to a place where I can find parts for this tractor I would greatly appreciate it!
Thanks
Chad
I have an 03, and I am not a very big fan of all of this pilot injection crap and trying to make a diesel sound like a gasser, that's another story. I have a 5" straight pipe exhaust system and a phat shaft 62 turbo and a bully dog power pup, and my truck sounds wicked. I have had numerous...
I don't know about you guys, but personally I am waiting on the p-pump conversion :) I think that will make these 3rd generations really sing! But, I guess if you want a quiet truck that meets emissions, then you'll have to deal with the cp3
Thanks, I'm going to call brady after while and see what he says I'd hate to pull that manifold after getting it torqued down. but since I'm here I'll ask you where do those 2 studs go that came with the turbo? I put them in the back because with the factory studs the wastegate actuator wouldn't...
I am trying to install my phat shaft 62 that I got from industrial injection. I took the 2 stud pieces that came with the turbo (the ones that have the allen wrench hole in the end) and put them in the back two holes in the manifold flange. I cannot get anything tool: wrenches, wobly socket...
Ok thanks bob! I have everything disassembled :) , and again I thank all of you all for the help, I'll start assembling tomorrow evening if I have time, I plan on having it back together (Lord willing) by the end of the week. If I run into anything else that throws me for a loop I'll let you all...
For those of you who have installed an ats manifold:On the instructions I noticed it said something about removing the water line, what water line are they talking about because they said that this would be "very difficult" to do and it said something about zip tieing it to a dipstick, I'm sure...
Ok Thanks alot guys, this info really helped. I bought the manifold off ebay from a diesel shop. When I got the manifold it came in an ats box, and like you all said the ats website states the manifolds come pre dilled, tapped and assembled. But I have the manifold, and it is not pre drilled or...
HELP! Ats manifold installation
Ok guys I just ordered an ATS 2 peice manifold and a phat shaft 62 turbo. One question I have is what size do I need to drill the hole and what size tap do I need for the pyrometer probe? ( My probe was installed by a diesel mechanic when I got the truck) And are...
