Many thanks for taking the time to reply to this post a few weeks back. What had happened was a battery cable (ground cable not one of the main +/- cables) somehow came loose, and the engine was turning over but not starting. Once that cable was re-connected, everything was fine...

Thanks. I did the code thing... . the lights on the dash returned to normal... and I was able to start the vehicle immediately thereafter. Weird. Believe me, I welcome my vehicle starting now, but this is puzzling... Chris
