I think the best suggestion is going to be the U-joints are those the ujoints in the axles or the drive lines? my tires are equal to a 33 12. 50 they don't rub, and the vibration occurs mostly in 2wd. I appreciate all the input.
those are good suggestions. I just replaced the ball joints about a year ago. they are in great shape. i will give the lift and spin method a try, but it seems to occur mostly when i am braking. my tires are 285 75 16 toyo open country a/t. it also happens in two wheel drive also

The transmission was trashed. never got into overdrive. overall decent truck but is it worth buying a truck and putting a transmission in after someone else trashed the first. especially for 22000. I think i will keep my...
that is some good input i am not in a rush to buy so i am going to do some more research. I have been looking at 00- 02 6 speed or 5 speed. I blew up the transmission in the 98 after i pulled the fuel plate out so i am going manual. What about clutches. I understand Southbend is about the only way...
I like to run the AFE filter that goes to the 03 stage I kit, I got it at the dealership it cost me 84. 95 but you can by a cleaner kit for 20. and the filter lasts forever.
