Man at work has a 99 auto stock(no programmer). The truck runs fine until 2000 rpm's then goes to limp mode and check engine light comes on. He has scanned with 2 diff scanners snap-on and one other and the code is 1-trip any help would be appreciated. Thanks,Woody

My son had this happen on a jeep. He took a set of wheels off a ford explorer and put on the jeep. The center hole on the ford wheel was a tad smaller on the ford wheel therefore the lug nuts were tight but the wheel wasn't tight against the drum.

99 will not show the codes using the key thing.

At wot it will get down to barely under 10 mabye 9 1/2 lbs. Cruising with cruise control 70-75 its running 11 lbs. Idle its moving 13-14 lbs,Just changed the fuel filter 2k ago and have a stock pump with me under the back seat. Merry Christmas to all. Woody

change filter Had the same problem with mine yesterday(stock pump)was fluctuating 4lbs idling and would drop to 6 wot. Changed the filter and back to 14 idle and 10 wot.
