I was attempting to do a check of my valves to see if adjustment was necessary, but I can not seem to find this mark on the pump drive gear. There are two holes in the gear 180 degrees from one another and the rest of the face of the gear is smooth. So what is this mark, what does it look like...

Has anyone used their injectors? Good, Bad, Indifferent? They cost less than Bosch and they say their injectors are manufactured to the specs of the Cummins 24V, but I am always cautious. I always think you get what you pay for. Is this the case here? Does anyone know?

AGR gear box You don't have to get the whole AGR kit. I replaced my gear box when it was leaking with an AGR gear box for ~$350. It was the Super Box 2 which has a variable gear ratio of 16:1 to 12:1. Super smooth and better handling than the OEM for less money.
